Seven Hills mixes busy commuter streets around the station, older family homes and one of the larger industrial areas in the district. Andrew’s Mechanical at 3 Goulburn St, Kings Park is a straightforward drive west along Vardys Rd. Seven Hills drivers come to us for logbook servicing, pink and blue slips, electrical faults and diagnostics, and local businesses use us to keep their utes and vans running.
Getting to us from Seven Hills
From the north side of Seven Hills station, head north to Vardys Rd and follow it west through Lalor Park, past Vardys Road Public School and Morgan Power Reserve. Go straight across Sunnyholt Rd into Kings Park and stay on Vardys Rd through the industrial area towards Marayong station. Goulburn St is in the pocket of streets beside the station, near the Marayong Hotel.
Outside peak hour the drive is about 12 minutes from the station area. If you are starting from Seven Hills Plaza on the Prospect Highway side of the line, allow a few extra minutes to get across the railway. Marayong station is a few minutes’ walk away if you would rather take the train back via Blacktown. Business customers with more than one vehicle are welcome to call ahead so we can plan around your work.
Common jobs for Seven Hills cars
- Fleet and business vehicles – The industrial and commercial area north of the line, around Abbott Rd, Powers Rd and Stanton Rd, runs on utes and vans. We service business vehicles to their schedules, and every job is recorded so you know what was done and when.
- Auto electrical and batteries – Plenty of Seven Hills cars do a short run to the station commuter car park and then sit all day. Short trips and long idle periods are tough on batteries and charging systems. We test batteries, alternators and starters, and track down warning lights and electrical faults.
- Logbook and general servicing – Seven Hills is close to the M2 and Old Windsor Rd, so a lot of local cars clock up commuting kilometres fast. Keeping to the logbook schedule helps keep your warranty records in order and catches small problems before they turn into breakdowns on the motorway.
- Pink slips and blue slips – Seven Hills has a lot of well-kept older cars. Once a vehicle is more than five years old it usually needs a pink slip each year to renew rego. Bought a car from interstate or let the rego lapse for more than three months? You will need an AUVIS blue slip.
- Engine diagnostics and repairs – From rough idles to check-engine lights, we diagnose the cause before recommending work. We also handle timing belts, clutches and gearboxes, which matter more as commuting kilometres build up. If your car has started slipping, shuddering or making new noises, it is worth a look before it gets worse.
