Quakers Hill has grown from a village around the station into a large suburb of family homes, with the M7 on its doorstep. Andrew’s Mechanical at 3 Goulburn St, Kings Park is one station down the Richmond line, right beside Marayong station. Quakers Hill drivers come to us for logbook servicing, pink slips, brakes, air conditioning and fleet work for local tradies. We also do blue slips for cars bought from interstate, which is handy if you have moved to one of the newer estates from out of state.

Getting to us from Quakers Hill

From Quakers Court on Falmouth Rd and the western side of the suburb, head south on Falmouth Rd to Quakers Rd, then follow Quakers Rd east to Marayong station and cross onto Vardys Rd on the Kings Park side. Goulburn St is in the pocket of streets beside the station, near the Marayong Hotel.

From the eastern side of Quakers Hill, take Quakers Hill Parkway over the railway to Sunnyholt Rd, turn right and head south over the M7, then turn right into Vardys Rd and follow it to the station end. Either way, allow about 8 minutes outside peak hour. Marayong station is a few minutes’ walk away, and Quakers Hill is the next stop north.

Common jobs for Quakers Hill cars

  • Logbook and general servicing – The M7 links Quakers Hill to just about everywhere, so local cars rack up kilometres quickly. Logbook servicing on time helps keep your warranty records in order and keeps a high-kilometre car reliable.
  • Brakes and suspension – The run between Quakers Hill Parkway and Sunnyholt Rd, plus the roundabouts through the newer estates, means a lot of braking and turning. We check pads, rotors, shocks and steering and tell you what is due.
  • Air conditioning – Quakers Hill is a long way from the sea breeze, and summer days get hot. If your air conditioning is blowing warm or smells musty, we can find the leak or fault and regas or repair it.
  • Fleet and tradie vehicles – Plenty of Quakers Hill tradies park a work ute or van in the driveway. We service business vehicles and fleets so they stay on the road and the paperwork stays in order.
  • Pink slips and blue slips – Once your car passes five years old it will usually need a yearly pink slip to renew rego. If you have bought a car from interstate, or the rego lapsed more than three months ago, you will need an AUVIS blue slip. We do both.
  • Pre-purchase inspections – Adding a second car or buying for a new P-plater? Have it inspected before you buy so you know its condition and what it may need. It is far easier to walk away from a car before money changes hands than after.

Quakers Hill FAQs

Which way is quickest from Quakers Hill?

From the western side near Quakers Court, Falmouth Rd and Quakers Rd bring you down to Marayong station and across to Vardys Rd. From the eastern side, Quakers Hill Parkway and Sunnyholt Rd are usually easier. Both take about 8 minutes outside peak hour.

Can I take the train home after leaving my car?

I drive the M7 every day. What should I keep an eye on?

Keep to your logbook service intervals, and get brakes and suspension checked if you notice noise, vibration or pulling. Motorway driving is easy on brakes, but the stop-start trip to and from the on-ramps is not.
